Did that really happen? Was it a dream or reality? What if a dream was reality, and reality was a dream? Or is it just like what Poe said: " All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream "?
I have too many questions on my mind at the moment! I think I won't be able to sleep tonight! This novel blew my mind.
“Perhaps it was an afterimage, I decided, or a ghost: something that had stirred in my mind, for a moment, so powerfully that I believed it to be real, but now was gone, and faded into the past like a memory forgotten, or a shadow into the dusk”
If there is a lesson I can learn from this novel, it's that we don't know anything in this life! We shouldn't brag about our knowledge, because no matter how much we know - or think that we know - there are still much more stuff that we don't know.
I mourned Lettie:( that poor little thing:(
